SQL MDF Database Question

I just started making a software packaged for the company that I work for and I have no Idea what MDF database is compared to MDB database. And if you know anything about this please send me a message, at least on how to get started with it. I know how to connect ADO and DAO controls in VB and to open the Access(MD😎 database but not the MDF. Please help.

Hi!

I think this is SQL Server database format. If you have SQL Server, I think there's a way to convert the database to Access. If you still have the problem, email me the file and I'll try to convert it from our SQL Server.

But if you have SQL Server, just install mdac type library with latest DB drivers from Microsoft and connect to SQL Server from ADO just as you would from VB.
