Adding values matching a specific id

Need help writing code...
Here is what in my table:

orderid hours minutes
TEST001 1 15
TEST001 2 30
TEST001 1 45
TEST0002 0 30
TEST0002 1 0

How do I select only orders relating to TEST0001 and adding up its hours to store in $hourstemp and it minutes to store in $mintemp. Thanks.
