jsp and tomcat apache

i 'm using a linux redhat 6.2 box with apache and ssl setup.
i am using tomcat to serve jsp.
i'm getting two errors
1) when i browse the page with netscape i'm getting the code displayed instead of the html output. but ie displays it correctly

2)when i POST to a jsp file i'm getting a

405 method post not allowed for url

i know this question is a bit out of place.
but, atleast tell me where i can get the relevant information

1) I don't use JSP, but in Perl you need to send headers manually. Did you send header
Content-type: text/html

2) No idea. Do you have this on-line?
