Jzs those people are thick. Do they really think that if the internet didn't exist that attack on the WTC would not have happened? If the terrorists didn't have internet they'd use the phone or even snailmail. But do you ever hear anybody say that 'phones are a tool of terrorism?' If I walkt into my local library I can find enough books on weapons and explosives to play terrorist. I don't need the internet for that.

people are afraid of things they don't understand and, let's face it, the folks in power don't really grok computers in general. it's like the video games==columbine scenario. when i was a kid i played with toy guns. they were made of metal and looked like real guns (no red-tipped barrels in my childhood!). they went bang when i pulled the trigger. i pointed them at people i went to school with. this is a healthier playing habit than doom or quake?
