Ok, I had this problem a couple of months before on a linux system and can´t remember how I solved it, so perhaps you can help me out.
All I wanna do is simply create a session-variable. It all works fine. BUT the problem is that it just works when I use my login-fields for the second time. This means: I open the browser, go to my page, give my login and pwd and try to login. When I want to echo the session-var I just created, it does not work!!! So, I call the homepage again (without closing the browser) and do all the steps again. This time it will work!!! WHY??!!!???
