Need opinion on text storage

Hi 🙂

I'm making a site that will store articles that can get pretty long.

What I want to know is, which of these would you suggest:

A. Storing the articles in mySQL with LongText.
B. Storing the articles to a textfile that the site can retrieve.
C. Something else?

My Preference would be A....

You could work with LongText or Blobs.

File articles (flat file database) dont have as quick a return time or ease of use of a database.

you cud create a data area and store u r articles that in a date wise format

/data/$category/2001/10/09/20011009.html

and create a database with the the filename as a field...with other info like author, category blah blah...

for any specified date u know which file to pick up and from where-in...aint it ??
