I'm curently working on a website. We have all the page designs done in html already. This was done before I came onto the project, now we want to switch over to a portal or news script of some sort. Mainly for the news updating and the search engine for the page. My question is, is there anything that you can use your current web page as a template and have the news php run in a table or something. HTML is my only language, plus a little c ive picked up. So basically, I want to implement a search engine and news and link updater plus a shopping cart in the near future into pages at www.pacers-network.com. I also need to be able to share the news between 2 pages, so the main page will post news from the the other sections, but have the other sections indepindant from each other. So if I post news to the software section, it appears on the main page and in the software section. Also, I need to be able to post link for review pages and stuff, with jpeg support and thumbnails. So, back to the question, is there a portal already done that could be edited some to fit my needs?
