Im trying to set up mysql, apache and php. I got the newest versions of everything yesterday and set it up. I thought it went flawlessly. Im trying to test out a couple portals and news scripts before deciding on which one to use. I was going to set up Nuke first, it seems easy to configure that you only have to point it to your database and install one file to your database. I followed the directions but i get errors. Someone sugested I use ez publish from a thread lower on this board since i already have the html pages i want to use done, and he said i could rewrite them into that. But my problem is, I'm a newby when it comes to php, but the host we're with doesnt use asp and I need the database for news and page updates but I also have to stick with the page design we have.
