do most of the people answering the forum questions only answer on the first day and when it's no longer 'new' it kinda gets lost in all the old forums?
i know this is kind of a dumb question - but hey, at least i'm honest about my ignorance.
well, normally people who answer get email responses back... so if a question answered three days ago gets another post to it, an email is sent. Why? did u have a question left unanswered?
i did have a thread going then it stopped - just was wondering what the general 'way it works in the forum world' as have been a 'long time reader, first time writer/responder'

s'ok - was having a problem stripping return characters from a user entry textarea.
i think i solved it - i just added about 10 javascript pop-ups "don't hit return" "you didn't hit the enter key did you?" "hit return and you'll really regret it!!!" "only Lusers hit return" ...
