I need to find out how many time a certian charater occures in a string.
Im working on a dynamic CSS and i need to check this
BACKGROUND: #000000; COLOR: #ffffff
to make sure # occurs twice or it kinda kills all the color on my page
iv tried the "print ereg("#",$hidcss, $array);" function but it never seams to give me the rite answer
Iv only got a couple of days left to finish this so PLEASE help me out
