I have a question about implementing cookies. Not "how" (that's easy). I'm wondering if it's safe, when programming a large user-driven system (a registration system, for instance), to use cookies to store information. Obviously, one can't assume that ALL people out there accept cookies. In some instances though, using them is by far the easiest way to deal with information. Is it a good idea then to force users to accept cookies in order to use my system? I already have some ideas/reservations, but I'd like to hear all of yours.
