Open source is safer than closed-source.

Open source means that everybody can see the code, find the security holes and warn the authors.

Closed source tries to keep the security holes hidden, so you don't know about the untill you are hacked.

So is this means the hacker can easy to find the security holes of open source and hack in?
then y still use the open source?

In open source the hacker may find the holes more quickly, but SO WILL THE DEVELOPERS.

So any hole that exists can be fixed much quicker than in closed source.

Open source is better than closed source.

So is this mean that using PHP, Linux, Apache and MySQL is the best way?
