Loopback

Hi
My name is robin, and i am currently teching muself PHP4 on redhat Linux 7.1. The question i have is:
Can i effectivly learn and test PHP4 on Apache using a local loopback, or does the machine have to be set up as a server?
Also, should i go for a workstation or server installation?Thanks for any helpers out there!

yes. this will work fine. and a workstation installation will be fine for what you are doing.
