I tried to show a bitmap image in netscape 4.x browser and it cannot be shown while IE can. I nkow that netscape cannot handle bitmap by itself and need to add new mime type to handle bitmap image by other program such as ACDsee.
I would like to ask could I show bitmap image as if it is jpeg or gif and use html tag to show it:
