I use Visual Interdev with PHP, love to use it, but it will probably be a cold day in hell before Microsoft makes an API to do that. Still, there are major benefits in using it, document object model scripting, you can actually connect to MySQL through the data connection and admin the database, etc. in the same project you are doing your development with, debugging features, pretty much the works.
