To whoever posted that problem with the guy running a script and screwing up your free lottery site(I cant find the original post):
Use GD to create an image file with a 4-5 digit number. Store that number on the server. A script cant(not easily) discern what the number is in an image. Therefore, a user has to READ the image text and type it in a confirmation form.
I think mp3.com used this method a while back.
