I have a quick question. I know a little bit on PHP and SQL and I'm currently creating a new site that is going to heavily use a database and would like to use SQL as the backend. This site is going to be updated everyday with news and that. Which is why I'm looking for a news script on the net. I found this one: http://www.gwscripts.com/scripts/npub.shtml but that one is in CGI and used txt files to store the stories. Does anyone know of a similar script but in PHP/SQL form? I need something really similiar to that because I'm going to be having categories and want news stories to be on a seperate page. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
have you tried http://freshmeat.net ? (assuming that you are running Linux)
I use DreamWeaver and I know a little html... Is there an easier way.... I catch on quickly.....
