Kindly help me in clarifying the below >:

this is what I need.

i am developing a website for an exhibition
All the inof has to be displayed thru static pages which has been done.

Now a JPEG file is made to display the view of the stalls with stall nos.

Now what I need is whenever one books the stall and makes the payment, the exhibiton organisers who are publiishing this site should login as ADMIN and mark the booked stall which should reflect in the JPEG File.

Is it possible in PHP..

Hi..

This is what I need.

The layout of the Exhibition is a big JPEG FILE.

Now and then stalls get booked (mostly offline). Now the exhibition organisers want this. the booked stalls must be marked by green 'x' mark and this they need to be done thru web based interface.

This is what is required.

I shall even appreciate new ideas from others to implement the above thing.

I'm not sure that I understood your problem, anyway I try put down some ideas that I hope will help...

You can use html DIV (I think that for NS u have to use LAYER tag). U put the big JPEG in a DIV, then u can put dinamically another DIV that contains the jpeg of a green 'x' mark putting his position like this:
....
<DIV ><IMG SRC="BIGMAP.JPG" ALT=""></DIV>

<DIV STYLE='position:absolute;
top:25px; left:30px'>
<IMG SRC="GREENCROSS.JPG" ALT="">
</DIV>
....
in this way u will have a green cross over the big jpeg in the position 25px from the top and 30px from the left of the screen. U must before calculate the position of the green cross for all the organizers, and put it somewhere then everytime u ask for that page u see all the booked and put their div with the right coordinates.
