Hello,

I want to find a way, if I have a button called DOWNLOAD being defined in a FORM,
on click, would go to backend database and Execute a predefined Query in the PHP script and Extract informations and bring the output on to the USER's BROWSER in the form of an EXCEL sheet, so that user can also save the excel sheet in his Local machine, for future purpose.

THis is the objective of my DOWNLOAD Button.

I am using ORACLE OCI logon of PHP for Backend connection and Query.

Please help me how I can achieve this.

For creating excel sheets synamically, I found hints in one of the phpbuilder forums, one of which led me to:

However, I experienced problems using the generator with recent versions of IE (German). But it's worth a try.
