Another way for the "News order"?

Hmm as far as I know, there's been alot of posts about how to let the latest post appear at the top of the page. But the codes that have been given only work when the form is on the same page, as the news-post.

Does that also work when the form is on another page? Or is there any another way?

HTTP is stateless, so it really does not matter wether the scripts posts data to itself or to another script, as long as the correct data is sent.
