Special way of uploading PHP?

Okay, okay... here's my newbee question #3:

Now I've done my Files and tested them on my Apache Server (w/ PHP4), it all works fine, no parse-errors, blah! Now when I upload my PHP files onto my webspace, and I'm most definitly sure that it's got PHP4 too, (they even boast with that), I get "permission denied....." and all that.

Could it be because of how I upload it? But I tried both Binary and ASCII.

Please help me once again. Thanks very much (once again).

That shouldn't have anything to do with it, it generally works either way (although ascii is the best). Sounds like you need to ask your host what's up.
