Find position...

Hello! I want to make a search-engine, which searches my own page. I use a preg_match to search, if a keyword is inside <H.>-Tags, which is then more important then a hit somewhere in the text.

Question: preg_math only return true or false if there was a hit or not. How can I get the position WHERE the hit was, like strpos does?

where it was is not used in preg_*. There is preg_match to find IF there are matches, preg_match_all to find what matches,
and preg_replace to replace the matches with something else. And that is all you'd ever do with matching strings in strings.
