Howdy. For my website, I've attempted to incorporate a freely available php script for performing "fileuploads" from Dave Tufts (?) -- http://dave.imarc.net/php.php.
My organization (non-profit ==> www.afcea-omaha.org) is trying to allow various IT entities to publicize on our website for a small stipend, which goes to cover the various scholarships we offer on an annual basis. As part of our advertising campaign and business approach, we want to allow interested businesses to upload their corporate graphics, etc. to our website, provided they have completed the necessary forms, etc.
I'm definitely a novice to PHP, but I thought I covered Mr. Tuft's code and instructions fairly well. Nonetheless, when I drill down to the point of uploading a graphic to our site, I've encountered these 2 error messages, the 2nd based on the changes I've implemented to correct the initial error.
The error messages are:
(1) Fatal error: Failed opening required 'fileupload.class' (include-path="/usr/local/share/phplib/:.") in /usr/share/httpd/afcea-omaha/fileupload/upload.php on line 8
(2) Parse error: parse error in /usr/share/httpd/afcea-omaha/fileupload/upload.php on line 8
As far as I can tell, from viewing in Notepad, line 8 of upload.php says the following: require("fileupload.class"). I believe I am supposed to add the correct path to this line, but by using correct symbology for PHP.
I've been combing this forum looking for a clue as how to proceed, but my extremely limited knowledge of PHP has really made this difficult. Hopefully, there's a very simple explanation or some rudimentary things I can do to overcome this obstical.
Any assistance provided will be appreciated! Thank you.
