Crop user submitted image?

Hi, If i had a script that uploaded a file to the server. How would I get php to get the image and crop it into an oval shape.

Cropping into an oval shape is not possible.
(there are no oval images, they just don't exist)
all you can do is scale to a different size and overlay an oval contour to simulate an oval image.

Read the manual and find more information about the GD library and Imagemagic.
