.php file is not recognized

I have configured PHP properly with apache. And then i have included
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php .php3 .phtml in my srm.conf file.
And all other .conf files in apache/etc/ folder are also done properly.
Apache is getting loaded properly, but when i load a .php file it give a save as dialogue box. Pls help me in solving this problem.

Change "AddType application/x-httpd-php3" to "AddType application/x-httpd-php" and restart Apache.
