Is it possible to destroy a session with cgi, but the session is made by php?

A session is a file on disk, remove the file and the session dies.

But this is a VERY BAD thing to do!

Why is that very bad?
So, it is not possible to destroy a by php created session with cgi on a simular way like: session_destroy() in php?

yes it is possible, but you should NEVER EVER remove files that you did not create yourself.

If PHP starts a session, no other scripts than that particular PHP script can know wether the file is still required for a user, or wether it has become obsolete.
