php3 and OO

I'm used to OO methodologie and have to work with PHP3 for my next project... but I don't know if objects with php is a very reliable thing. Any comments?

PHP3 is outdated/obsolete. upgrade to PHP4, OOP is fine in PHP4.

the previous message was not that explicit. I already developed application using php4 and OOP but the new project will run on about 40 servers all around the world and it's really a big deal to upgrade to Php4 everywhere. That why I have to give really good reasons to do that

The fact that PHP3 is nolonger supported is a really good reason.
