versitile news script

I run a youth soccer club site with many sites for each team (about 20 teams). I want to find a news script where each team can run their own news, but I don't want to have to set up one for each team. Is there a news script where users can login, create/edit news for their own section, and not see anyone elses news?

This is probably asking a little much, but thought I would try.

Search sourceforge.net you'll find something. What you want, btw, is not too difficult to do yourself, assuming you have programming skills....

or try phpnuke. haven't used it myself i code my own stuuf but i'm told it's good

How would I do it myself? I can do basic programming with PHP, but nothing with databases yet.

Well, you'll really want to use a database for this type of thing. Basically, you would need a login table (user/pwd,team) and a news table(team/story) at a minimum, it groes from there. Search these boards, someone asks this questiona t least once a week
