when should i use multiple mysql db?

hello,

i'd appreciate any help on this.

i need to write a project which stores users in a database and details of adverts on their site (how often they are being clicked and by who.)

i don't know whether to use one database with multiple tables for this or two databases - one for the users and their passwords and the other for that statistics for the advert clicks.

do you guys know how i should proceed??

Using two databases needs a reason: can you think of any reasons why in this case, using two databases would be better than using one database?

Neither can I :-)

Just use one database with as many tables as you like.
