First, get a pickup truck and a buddy to help you move it.
If you've got a really big DB, rock the database to one side slightly and slide a dolly under it. Remember, if it doesn't seem too large and you think you can lift it yourself LIFT WITH YOUR LEGS.
After putting the database in the pickup, make sure it is securely strapped in (I like to use the ratchet-type ties). Some people like to cover their database to prevent fields from blowing out but I've never had a problem with this. However, you might want to cover it just to make sure it stays dry.
Never leave it unattended. I guarentee that if you leave it alone for just a few minutes, people will leave all kinds of crap all over your tables.
