preload images from database..

Hi,

I need to preload images, which are displayd out of an data base via webinterface.

The data base runs on an other server as the webserver. Images are uploaded by people themself,
converted in data base as ASCII-file.

Any idea how to upload jpeg-photo to webserver, parallel as ascii to data base?

So I could ask, if image in data base -> preload...

php can automate all of that except jpg -> ascii conversion. You'll probably have to write your own algorithm implementation.

This dude wrote such converter in java, may be you could reverse engineer it to php...
