How to set HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR variable

Hi,
I tried to get clients' ip addredd using the variable HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR, the system respond no such varible. I checked phpinfo() to find if that variable was set, found no HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR variable.

Could anyone tell me how to configure the system to set HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR?

Well, I don't think it's a PHP problem ;
(PHP get that variable FROM the web server)

You need to configure the Apache server
to do so.
