Web Editor for PHP?

Hi again,

I am wondering if anyone knows of an online Editor for HTML, that is WYSIWYG? I have checked out www.ektron.com, but they require that you install some software on the computer which will be editing the HTML.

Does anyone know of something similar, but without needing to download software for it?

I looked at this one a while back and it seems to have lot's of features. It isn't free, but at the time it seemed to be the best quality.

Thanks, it does have some of the feature I was after... I guess it would be nearly impossible to get a textfeild to display different fonts etc. From a stylsheet or something. I know that you can specify a style using the class=text-yaristyle etc, but not different styles in the same textfeild.

Or is there a way around this?

Hi!

If you want to be requiring that your clients use a particular browser (i.e. IE 5.0 and above), you should consider using ActiveX technologies - there's a good control called DHTMLEd, which allows to edit both the HTML source and in WYSIWYG. It does an excellent Word-compatible job of it (so you can select text in word and simply copy it into the control). You need to understand some pretty complex Javascript stuff, and install addons such as Tag-cleaner, image insert dialogues, etc - all by using Javascript.

Only drawback - you will be binding your client to a particular browser, although research shows that Netscape and Opera supporters are giving up on these products. :-(
