multiple emails being sent with mail()

hello
I have a contact user script, and for some crazy reason it's send up to 9 emails. One has the content from the form and the rest are just blank.
the subject is httpd. I'm not sure how to suppress this problem.
Does anyone have any clues?

$mymaillit=array(mail1.mail2,mail3,...,mailn);
$i=0
while($i<=count($mymaillist)){
mail($mymaillist[$i],$sub,$body,$from,$xtra);
$i++;
}
or just get kmailinglist manager from hotscripts
