Apache Question

I know that this may not be the best place; however, we are having a little problem.

1) Does anyone kow of a any good apache newsgroups?
2) We have rh7.2, apache, mysql and php running on a server. From the server, we can access the website; however, not from other machines internal and external.

Help Please.

comp.infosystems.www.servers.unix ... not a very friendly name, but there it is.

1. Can you access the site FROM the site, by typing in its external address? (not 127.0.0.1.)

2. Is DNS working properly?

3. What happens if you telnet to Port 80 of the server and type GET / HTTP/1.0? Try this from multiple hosts.

4. Run a tail on the access and error logs and see if anything happens when you hit the server.

we cannot access the site by typing the external or internal address.

From what we can tell, DNS is working fine.

We cannot telnet to the port.
