Script used by phpBuilder for Columns.

Hello Everyone,

I want to start a site on php related scripts and Tuts and articles.

I really like PHPbuilder's columns script. They have separate php files for each of the articles instead of one single PHP file which takes argument about which article to display. I would like to have similar thing on my site. This would make the site search engine friendly.

So where can I find that script ?
I tried to search the forums but wasnt sure which words to use cause using words like 'articles script phpbuilder' got me endless results.

So is the script open source ( its gotta be !! 🙂 ) ? Please let me know where can I find it.

Not knowing exactlly what they are doing but having done something like it. I can share my trick of doing so.

Created a template of the site so that it was easy to reproduce, and change the content based a variable.
Created small files that called the template with the nesscary variables, such as the $PHP_SELF name.

Thus I could call up all content based on the file name. Which it looks like what they are doing here.

But that is just a guess.

Basically its not that I don't know how to do such thing or something like that.

Actually right now I have lots of work to do, I mean LOTS OF.

But I would also like to share my tuts/articles and my applications. So rather than reinventing the wheel if the script is available i can start off straight. That is my point. So if you have similar script would you mind passing it on ????

The column 'script' used here is in functionality nearly the same as a static website.
Just one template and a regexp to replace the placeholder with the article content.

Takes about 5 minutes to make.

I would like to use database too.
Isnt the source for the script available?

I agree with you vincent. Surely It can be found.

But problem I am facing is that I am not sure how to search for it. cause all the keywords I tried gets me thousands of results , I can not go through all of them.

So I thought that may be one of members of phpbuilder would see this post and help me find out the script.

Any team members listening ?
