dns or server not found

hi,

i am running a website with a password protected area to upload/manage fotos and text.

the "admin control center" works fine from my home-pc, from the pc in my work but my customer always get an error while uploading an image, that the dns or server couldn't be found. this happens now on 2 different servers.

any ideas what could be wrong? a cache problem? proxy problem? the site was hosted today on a brandnew server with new domain name and there cannot reside wrong pages in proxy/cache...

Sounds like your customers ISP does not have the updated DNS records. Most registars quote DNS change propagation to take 24-72 hours.

DNS entries could be cached at the ISP.

the page upload.php has a form field where the customer can select an image from his hard disk and a radio button "category".

if he upload an image, the same page is called and do some checks (filesize, filetype, has radio button selected...).

if the page gives out the form again with errors, everything work ok. but if he uploads an image, the same page should be called with "data has been sent" but he get the dns error...

very weired for me...
