File management recommendations...?

Hi everyone.

I've been looking for a tool that will help me manage, upload and edit my PHP files.

Currently I use DreamWeaver by force of habit and although I love the publishing tools it seems a little overkill as I'm not using any of it's other features.

Is there something free and useful you might suggest for use in Windows?

Linux reccomendations also usefull.

I suggest you try using OmniPad. It's being developed by a member of the Ars Technica Open Forum discussion boards. You can download it from here:

It's a free application and it's constantly under development.
