Hi I really sorry for asking this question here but...
I am familiar with PHP but i MUST learn ASP using Jscript or VBS.
I need to khow if there is any toll that can help me learn VBS or Jscript..for exmaple I want to know what is the equivelant of strlen() in VBS. I found taht it is len() but it took quite a lot of time.I need to have PHP functions on the left and their VBS/JS equivelant on the right side..
Any ideas..
I really apologize once again for asking this question here but this is my favorite forum i do not know where else to ask...

How cruel that somebody is forced to do ASP...

If you're using PWS to test your ASP, then you should have installed the documentation for it when setting up PWS. (Its 60 MB worth). I believe it also contains the VBScript reference, but I have Visual Studio and it may have come with that. If you dont have either, email me for the .chm files. (gosh I hope MS dont see that.. bleh).

Get the Wrox book, Beginning ASP 3.0. If you need to learn it fast, this is the source, you will need a little while to go through it, but its probably the best I've seen to get you into it.

I have downloaded .chm documnentaion of VBS and I'm moving fast but a tutorial "migrate from PHP to ASP" I can not find...May be no one wants to do such a stupid thing..

Still recommend the Beginners book, the professional level book is just that, professional level, and if you are just beginning in VBScript and ASP, don't start there.

The beginners book shows you such things as you asked about, the general syntax, how to use recordsets, etc..
