Hello.. I have a friend who has a very, very old computer. He has written many text documents in a DOS based program called Works. He recently bought a new IBM (low grade) and wants to convert and save his old stuff to the new computer. He's now running in ME. The old files (.wps) can be loaded into the new unit but at the beginning of the text there are a couple lines of little boxes.. Also the very end of each document isn't converting and has many more boxes... I've tried copying the files in both the old format and the new and seem to get the same results. We would appreciate any thoughts you might offer.. thanks so much,
