PHP and Graphics: jpeg-6b

I would like to be able to create jpeg images with PHP. I can create PNGs with the php_gd.dll extension, but jpeg doesn't work. Does anyone have an already compiled version (a dll file) of the jpeg-6b or other files I need so I can include them as extensions in my php.ini file? I do not have a C compiler, nor do I know how to use one. Most of that stuff is VERY confusing to me.

I am running Apache with PHP4 on a Win2000 machine. All versions are latest releases.

what is the exact error message you get when you try to create a jpeg file?

I would get the error about PHP not beign built with JPEG support, or I might not get anything at all, as if it tried to work but didn't output anything.

Now this is strange. After I got your response, I tested it again; to try and get those errors...now it works...at least outputting the image to a file and calling it with HTML....

this is strange....

Also, before, my QUick-Time Plugin was making me mad, so I moved the class file and everything started working...
