Reads very interesting but actually it doesn't seem to work.
I'm from Aachen, Germany, online from a static IP, hostname of IP being nat.region-aachen.de.
Taking a closer look at the hostname one would guess this would be a rather easy case.
Still I keep getting english language versions of sites that claim to use quova for just that.
Heres a quote from randstad.com:
Quova recognises the IP-address (the Internet address) of your Internet Service Provider. Quova has a database containing 4.25 billion IP-addresses, linked to data about the origin of the providers with these IP-addresses. Thus we can determine in which country and in which region the provider is located.

Can anyone point out a working example? I'd be impressed with static IPs even but what I believe Nicolay wanted is to see this with dynamic IPs.
