PHP Book

Guys I have been tryingt o find a good PHP book. I would very much like to start learning about PHP. I have done some sites wall only 2. I have been told they are not that bad. They are only in html. But I wanna pick up PHP so I can make some really nice things on some sites I wanna do also. So if anyone could help me with this that woudl be really great. Thank you everyone for your time.

I just started learning PHP also. The book I started out with was:

This book has alot of hands-on examples. Definitely a begginer\'s book.

This is a more in depth book (800pgs). There are some good examples of e-mail, forums, shopping-cart... The authors are really into using functions.

Hmm.. man I was hopeing this would help a lil better. I have been trying ot find a good PHP for about a week. Well I got 2 books to try from then. Yeah I got the money for one. I just want a really good php book that will help me understand and be able to code my own stuff..

If you've got half a brain, then you can't go wrong with the Welling and Thompson book. 🙂 I highly recommend it.
