parse error

when working with 1 file i got this really strange error.

the file is 65 lines long and the it says:

Parse error: parse error in /usr/home/ulekcouk/public_html/new/forum.php on line 64

i don't understand where the error can be coming from
the last lines (64 and 65) are just:

?>

and 1 blank line.

you are probably missing a closing curly-paren "}" from a loop or an IF statement somewhere higher in the script.
