php+mysql error : " lost connection "

Hi,

My conf :
Solaris 2.6
Apache 1.3.22
php 4.1.0
mysql 3.23.46

mysql connects works perfectly but when i try request using php, i get the error :
"Lost connection to MySQL server during query"

Does anyone have ideas on what I should check ?

This problem is driving me crazy ...

No, It works 1 time by 20 :-((

The php script is relly simple, just for testing first : i removed everithing but even this doesnt works ...

The same .php file dont work with apache ( lost connection during query ) but work fine with only php !!!

executing php script directly with php bin works fine ( mysql connection OK ) but when i use php+apache i still get "lost connection.." message :-((
