Fabulous opportunity for experienced Web Developer to design and implement a technical framework for e-learning content delivery. Must have excellent proven commercial development and Web related experience/skills using Open Source tools – especially php. Working in a Linux/Oracle environment; knowledge of any of the following is beneficial: XML, DHTML, Java, JavaScript. Must possess full development life-cycle experience.
To develop a framework/system to store, link, track and maintain many compatible, interchangeable courseware modules. These modules would provide the actual courseware functionality. Framework to interface with other modules providing features such as threaded discussions, chat, testing/quizzing, grade books, course outlines, file-sharing, and digital content display. The modules need be able to communicate and interact with one another, sharing common user logins, digital assets and other key data.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate recent dynamic sites developed.
