What's so bad about starting from scratch? I find it easier to build the thing myself so it does what I want from the beginning rather then run through someone elses code and try to understand what the bloody clusterhell they were trying to do. "Is this line a stroke of genius or a bug? I can't figure it out."
Bah, better just to write one from the beginning.
hlph: be more specific in your requests. something like
"Oh great dieties of PHP, your most humble servant hlph brings one small request to your attention. How would I sort the responses in my new forum? I have labored for days and am weary. What is the most efficient method to sort by date or user?"
or whatever your immediate problem may be. While most people won't snap like Herr Kristopeit, you won't get as many specific responses. This forum behaves like a computer: im sheisse, aus sheisse.
