SMTP options for PHP4 on Windows

I've just installed OmniHTTPd web server on my home (windows) computer for testing purposes (which has installed php4 as well). I was wondering if there was anyway to change the SMTP/outgoing mail server that PHP uses to send out mail using the "mail()" function. In other words, to change the SMTP server to my internet provider's SMTP so I could use the "mail()" function.

I don't think it is possible, but I could be wrong. Meanwhile, you could do it my way: install ArgoMail (www.argosoft.com) and configure localhost as your SMTP in php.ini.
