ftp clients

Does anyone know of a good ftp client I can purchase to run on an Apache web server that is running on Linux?

I would like the ftp client to be resumable. In other words, if the connection is broke when someone is downloading a file from my web site, they can start downloading again where they left off.

I dont quite understand what you want, cause you want something to run on Apache (like a server?) and then you talk about a client. So I will just do both. This is kind off the topic of PHP though. I am assuming you havent been running Linux long since you still have the idea of purchasing software. In Linux you purchase very little. (In fact nothing at 99.5% of the time).

Server:
I use proftpd which I think is a bit more secure then wu-ftp. (Do google searches for those).

Client:

     I use deadftp which is a nice resumable client.  Has a lot of other nice features. Another is Wxftp/AxyFTP, and gFtp.  All are resumable Clients.  All are free!

Yeah, I know most Linux software is free. When I can't find free software that works, I sometimes end up having to pay, a small fee, for something.

Ok, I do need to clarify my problem:

I already have wu-ftp running on my redhat linux 7.0 server. On that linux server, I have an Apache 1.3.14

I want people who go to my web site to be able to download files to their pc from my web server, via ftp. If you go to www.dell.com and download drivers, you can download drivers from their ftp site or http. This is similar to that. The only difference is, I want their download to be resumable if the download is interupted.

It looks like deadftp runs right on the server, in Gnome. It's too bad deadftp didn't have a web user interface. It is a cool program.
