Connecting to mySQl on Webserver

Hi
I am able to run PHP scripts with Omnihttpd server and mySQl ; both installed on local m/c.
However I'm not able tofigure out a way to run PHP scripts with Omni on local and mySQL on the webserver.
if any of you know how to run scripts using this combination ,please help1

1) Must be able to connect to the machine with current network/internet connection

2) MySQL must be running

3) Correct User/Password for the database

4) Correct Host permissions for the local webserver

5) just enter in either the hostname or ip address of the MySQL server.
